Wheel Throwing (lidded jars)

Whether you have only have a little experience of throwing on a pottery wheel before, or have more experience but want to continue on your learning journey, this lidded jar making workshop is perfect. Potter Karl Greene, will guide you through each stage, from wedging the clay, centering on the wheel and throwing the forms, to drying adding a gallery and trimming. The aim will be to make one finished lidded jar, there will be the opportunity depending on progress to make a second. Your pieces will be bisque fired and either glazed by us in a limited colour range or you will have the option to book in to a glazing session at an additional cost. All materials, firings and refreshments are provided.
