Mixed Media Drawing and Painting Workshop

Mixed media drawing and painting, exploiting the limitations and potential of a variety of media. Open to all, the focus is on learning how to combine different media using a variety of mark making techniques to create personal images with very distinctive characteristics.

Initially there will be some directed tasks introduced through examples and demonstrations to help you investigate the characteristics of each media as they interact with others. Then some negotiated tasks to help you understand how they can be integrated, modified or adapted, as you discover unexpected solutions.

Later tasks will be more open to allow you to develop work in your own individual way, with support as required, so that you can enhance and refine your skills.
