Illustration Techniques with Steve Joyce

Artist, Steve Joyce, will guide you through a range of different techniques, styles, ideas and design features used by a range of illustrators. From representation to imagination, you will look at the way imagery and methods are used, to help you create your own work.

There will be demonstrations of the use of materials and techniques in a range of media and tips on drawing methods. There will also be introductions to the ideas and methods used by particular illustrators. You will then have the opportunity to develop your own ideas.

Basic paper, pencils and paints will be provided, please do bring along any additional materials you wish to use, like fine liners or posca pens, or your own sketch books.
