About The Event
We will explore:
- A variety of techniques and painting methods
- Using scale and cropping to create drama
- Responsive mark making
- Applying paint expressively
- Using colour and tone
Materials to bring:
- Favourite selection of oil or acrylic paint (if using oils please bring odour free solvents)
- Selection of brushes (round, flat & filbert in different sizes)
- Palette and palette knife
- Apron
- Canvas board (12x12” or 12x16”)
- Your camera/tablet/phone to take close up photos of the still life arrangement if you wish.
We will provide:
- Table easels
- Water pots
- Sketch paper
- Pencils and charcoal
- Additional materials
