Embroidered Paper Baubles with Sam Luxford

In this workshop, Sam Luxford from Navistitch will show you how to create these gorgeous paper baubles with embroidered designs. You will start by learning how to form the bauble shape with navigation chart paper as a practise excercise. You will then use gold and silver papers to make 4 designs - Smowflakes. Holly, Christmas Tree and a Star. You will learn the techniques for embroidering on paper and how to embroider into your bauble before forming the shape. You may only complete one during the workshop but will take home all the materials to complete the set.

Included in the ticket price is a full kit to continue making paper baubles at home including felt tile and pricking tool, needle and threader, 2 full skeins of DMC embroidery thread, templates and tools. Refreshments will also be provided.
