About The Event
This short course, led by experienced potter and tutor, Karl Greene, is designed to impact foundational skills in pottery, focusing on the creation of cylinders and bowls. With limited glazing options, you will develop an appreciation for the tactile and sculptural qualities of clay. The three best outcomes each week will be selected to be dried and bisque fired.
Classes run on the following dates:
10th November 10am-12.30pm
You will learn the basics of centering clay and shaping it into cylinders. This session will focus on developing control and consistency .
17th November 10am-12.30pm
Building on the first session, participants will explore more complex cylinder shapes and techniques to refine their skills.
